Our in-person BLS Initial Class is designed for healthcare providers obtaining their BLS certification for the first time. Already BLS certified? Our in-person Renewal Class is built for providers who hold a current or recently expired AHA BLS Provider card and need to recertify. The renewal course is condensed compared to the initial class, focusing on updated AHA guidelines, skills review, and scenario-based testing . You'll refresh your CPR technique for adults, children, and infants, review AED use, and practice team-based resuscitation — then walk out with your new 2-year AHA BLS Provider card typically within 1–2 business days after successful completion.
Our Hybrid/Blended Learning BLS course combines the flexibility of online self-study with the hands-on skills practice that AHA certification requires. Students complete the cognitive portion of the BLS curriculum — including CPR science, AED use, and resuscitation guidelines — through the AHA's online HeartCode platform at their own pace. They then attend a focused in-person skills session at our New Orleans facility to complete hands-on manikin practice and receive their AHA BLS Provider card.
